Speedo donated funds and products in order to support the lifesaving work taking place in the community. SPLASH was run by Rashtriya Life Saving Society of India (RLSS-I), the official India branch of the Royal Life Saving Society Commonwealth and a member of the International Life Saving Federation.
Building on existing RLSS-I initiatives and working with experts from their team, together with International inspiration, SPLASH taught essential swim survival skills to 4,370 children from disadvantaged communities in Bangalore.
The programme also educated children, parents and teachers about water safety and established a team of swim trainers to continue this vital work into the future, meaning that even more people will know how to stay safe in and around water.
