In the Pool
Q: How did you get into swimming?
I had to learn to swim, but my brother really got me into competitive swimming. I really looked up to him. My first club was Gladsaxe Swimming Club.
Q: What would you describe as your strengths?
My technique is definitely a strength in the water. My mind can also be my biggest strength or my biggest weakness, depending on the day.
Q: How do you overcome challenges?
We all have ups and downs, and I just try to accept that some days are heavy. Tomorrow is a new day! I know that sleep has a positive impact on my mind, so I try and get a solid night’s sleep every night. Apart from that, I have great people in my life who I can talk to whenever I feel down.
Out of the pool
Q: What other sports do you enjoy outside of swimming?
I do a lot of yoga and I also like to play basketball. My favourite sport to watch is gymnastics, and my favourite sports team is the Mercedes F1 Team.
Q: If you weren’t a swimmer, what would you be?
I love designing jewellery and clothes, so I would definitely be doing something creative. Perhaps something to do with communication too.
Q: What’s your favourite movie, and who is your favourite actor?
I don’t have a favourite movie, but I love all of the Marvel films. My favourite actor is Chris Hemsworth.
