Abbey Wetzeil
Force of nature
Abbey is a 1 x Olympic Champion, 3x World Champion and American Record holder. She was the first woman to swim 50 yards in under 21 seconds. As one of the top female sprinters in the US, her dedication and talent have made her a force to be reckoned with in the pool.
Starting young
Abbey first joined a parks and recreation swimming team when she was a 9-year-old in Northern California. But she didn’t do the sport consistently until she was 12 and her family moved to the Los Angeles area, where she joined a club team. From there, her career took off. She starred collegiately at the University of California, and she still trains in Berkeley.
