Erica Sullivan

Freestyle medalist

Erica is an Olympic Silver medalist in the Women’s 1500m Freestyle. She received
the silver medal in the 1500-meter freestyle at the 2020 Summer Olympics after
placing second and qualifying in the event at the 2020 US Olympic Swimming Trials.
Erica has had a lot of success in the world of distance freestyle and has been a
strong leader on the Junior and National team for Team USA.

Proud advocate

A very proud advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, Erica has played a key role in
designing this year’s upcoming Pride Line for Speedo. She is also an active voice
for those struggling with mental health issues and has always viewed the pool as
an opportunity to be her true self. “I swim for the people. It’s my therapy and my
safe space”.
