Born in New South Wales to a swimming family, Australian freestyle star Emma McKeon was initially coached by her father, Commonwealth Games gold medallist, Ron McKeon. Emma’s Olympic debut at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games went with a bang, seeing her take home a team gold, 2 team silver medals and an individual bronze to become Australia’s most successful Olympian that year. She and her Australian teammates also broke the World Record with their unstoppable 4 x 100m freestyle performance.
