The Polo drill resembles a water polo swimmer, swimming front crawl with their head up. This drill helps you to check hand entry and promotes a better kick to offset the upward body position.


Swim front crawl with your head up to reduce crossover and promote a strong leg kick.


Try to hold this form for half a length focussing on arm technique and breathing to the front. Resume normal swimming for the rest of the length.


Ensure you kick hard to support your body position.
