Born and raised in Illinois, American freestyle swimmer Conor Dwyer has his American swimmer mother to thank for his fast genes. Conor swam for the University of Florida, where he was a two-time Swimmer of the Year. Fast-forward to the London 2012 Olympic Games and Conor took gold as part of Team USA’s winning 4 x 200m freestyle relay performance. Never far from the pool, Conor notches up a staggering 16km of swimming a day, plus 1.5 hours of gym training. More recently in Rio 2016, Conor earned a Bronze in the 200m free and a Gold in the 4x200m free relay.
