Speedo Sponsored Athletes Filippo Magnini and Ranomi Kromowidjojo displayed very strong performances on the weekend at the Swimcup Eindhoven meet. The meet was raced under the 2010 FINA rules, so it was a good test for the athletes to race under the new rules which come into place on January 1st.
Magnini won the 100 m freestyle in 49.82 from Fred Bousquet in second place with a time of 49.90. Filippo was racing in Speedo FS PRO Jammers.
Kromowidjojo won the women's 100 freestyle final in a time of 53.95, and coming in second was her team mate and Speedo athlete Femke Heemskerk, with a time of 55.14.
Attention now turns to the European Short Course Championships which will run from 9th - 13th December in istanbul.
