+How do I sign up to the new web app?

We haven’t launched the new web app just yet and are currently in our beta testing phase. If you’d like to be informed when it launches, add your name to the waiting list here.

+What will the new web app do?

Our new web app is currently being shaped in the beta testing phase. It will include personalised recommendations, training plans from some of the world’s best swimming coaches, swim tracking and analysis. To be informed when it launches, add your name to the waiting list here.

+When will the new web app launch?

We’re shaping what our new web app is going to look like at the moment, but we are scheduled to launch our new web app in mid 2017.

+Will you be able to use it on iOS and Android devices?

Yes, and other platforms as well, because it will be designed for web. This means that any smartphone device will be able to access the web app.

+What does beta mean?

Beta means we are testing the web app with a small group of people and making updates and improvements based on their feedback. At the end of the beta phase we will then launch the web app fully.

+I’m a beta tester, how do I log on?

If you’ve received an email confirming that you’re a beta tester, you will be able to log in to the web app by using the code contained in that email. Simply visit on.speedo.com and enter your beta code and email address.

+Can I invite others to use the beta version of the web app?

During the beta phase you will not be able to share it will friends because everyone needs a unique code to access it. When the web app is launched we’ll let you know and you can then share it with your friends.

+Can I connect my fitness tracker?

Yes, you will be able to connect a fitness tracker to the web app. We will be bringing more devices on board over time. For now, you are able to connect a Garmin or Misfit device. To do this, go to the “My Devices” section from the menu on the left hand side of the web app.

+What do I do if I need help?

If you have any feedback or need help, you can use the Hotjar icon at the bottom right of the web app. We’ll pick up any messages from there and get in touch with you as soon as we can. You can also email us at customerservices@speedo.com.

+Why have you shut down the Speedo Fit app?

On 31st December 31st 2016, Speedo’s agreement with the developers of the Speedo Fit app, Active in Time ltd, came to an end. As a result, the Speedo Fit app updated itself on January 1st 2017 to become SwimIO. This app is not a Speedo affiliated product.


+What is Speedo doing instead of the Speedo Fit app?

Speedo is currently working on launching an exciting new web app, packed with personalised recommendations, training plans from some of the world’s best coaches, swim tacking and analysis. +What happens to my swim data from the Speedo Fit app?

If you choose to use SwimIO, your data will be saved from when you used the Speedo Fit app, and your data will remain the same. If you join the new Speedo web app, you’ll be able to transfer your Speedo Fit data and history across.
