MICHAEL PHELPS VOTED MALE WORLD SWIMMER OF THE YEAR

Speedo sponsored great Michael Phelps was this week announced as the Male World Swimmer of the Year by Swimming World Magazine. The award capped off a fantastic week for Phelps, who also won "Swim of the Year" at the recent Golden Goggle Awards in the US.

Phelps beat a strong list of contenders for the award - with the top five consisting of Paul Biederman, Cesar Cielo, Ryan Lochte and Aaron Piersol. Michael will complete his year of racing when he takes on the E Stars at the Duel in the Pool in Manchester UK from December 17 - 18.
